Cool, Creamy, and Refreshing: A Quick Guide to Smoothies, Fruit Shakes, and Shake

Smoothies

Smoothies are made by mixing ice, syrup, or fruit puree. They have an icy, grainy texture and bright colors, sometimes with a slightly artificial taste. They are light and refreshing, perfect for hot weather.

Fruit Shakes

Made by mixing fresh fruit with milk, juice, or water. Some recipes add ice cubes to keep it cooler but maintain a smoother texture than smoothies. They're a great way to enjoy the natural fruit flavors.

Shake

Made from milk and ice cream. Additional syrup or fruit can enhance the flavor. The shake has the thickest, smoothest texture thanks to its ice cream base.
